Walks with the animals, talks with the animals
At DrDolots I offer personalised pet care services including dog walks, dog visits, vet visits, and visits for other small and large animals including horses. I hold a current certificate in Dog First Aid, am DBS checked and fully insured.
I am based in Liss and happy to travel a corridor of the A3, roughly between Petersfield to Hindhead (see map below).
I offer:

Individual dog walks, or for up to four dogs all from the same gang. This can be on or off-leash depending on your wishes (and assuming your dogs are well-behaved off leash). This way I can give your pups my undivided attention. We can also do some basic training on walks (may also be a good idea for young dogs) where good behaviour is positively reinforced! I enjoy dog walks in our lovely countryside and will take them where is near you and appropriate for the weather (e.g. forest walks in summer).

Dog visits. This can be for a tea/wee break while you're out so they don't have to cross their legs too long, or to give a bit of company and/or food to break up their day while they wait for you. This is also ideal for puppies/older dogs as puppies cannot cross their legs so long and may be tempted to rearrange the house for you if bored, and older dogs may also need to go out more or need medication administered.

Vet visits. Perhaps you are unable to get your pet to an appointment, or want some assistance or support?

Visits for small and large animals. From gerbils to shire horses, I am happy to visit to care for your other pets when you are unable to. This could include cats, rodents, sheep, goats, poultry, horses etc. I owned a (very beautiful Friesian) horse for 9 years and am familiar with all aspects of equine care also.

As far back as I can recall, I was obsessed with all animals, much to the bemusement of my parents, who were less keen. I would plead for all manner of pets (dogs and ponies topping the list). From being a child I would walk anybody's dog who would let me. I have had or cared for horses/ponies, goats, chickens, a parrot, rabbits, guineapigs, cats, sheep, fish and of course, dogs. I decided I would be a zookeeper when I grew up. Weirdly, instead I embarked on a PhD and research career in human psychology. It is now time to get back to my passion of animals. My current menagerie comprises two dogs and chickens.

Prices are a guide depending on exact requirements.
£15 for one dog (60 minutes)
£5 per additional dog from same household/gang
Whatever you need: Puppy visits, dog/cat feeding, litter tray emptying, company, meds; small animal feeding/cleaning, large animal feeding/cleaning/welfare visits
From £15 for a half hour visit to £25 for an hour depending on your requirements
